Back on the road tomorrow morning towards El Salvador and Honduras. I will be going through those countries relatively fast. I think I need to cycle < 100km to cross Honduras in the south.
I´ve uploaded more pictures (27 to 49).

I left Panajachel for Antigua earlier today. My 1st impression of the city was cold but I'm warming up slowly. I met some people and we went out for supper together.
The sauna and massage yesterday were divine. I finished the day with beer and a huge pizza. Gui went to bed very happy.
I finished "La vuelta al mundo en 80 dias" and bought a new book: "2000 leguas de viaje submarino". Another Julio Verne in Spanish.

Today, I switched hostels for a very crowded one but better located and with a small kitchen. I also took Surly to a shop and wasted a good part of the day looking for a new multitool, which I lost in Panajachel in spite of being careful. Very frustrating.
Antigua is a strange place to me. A place in which I'm not entirely comfortable. It's like a huge ruin, half restored, where ~40K people live along with several hundred tourists. Every ATM I've seen has an heavily armed guard. Lots of people here are poor, like in Panajachel. But unlike Panajachel, they seem to mind.
Earlier today, I re-united with Erika and Yaniv which had just arrived in town. We had another huge spaghetti supper with wine.
Tomorrow, I'm going on a canopy tour. I'm planning to get back to cycling towards the coast and El Salvador next Tuesday. Recently, the temperature has been very pleasant. Fresh at night and nice but not excessively hot during the day.
